The Hernandez/Gonzmart family opened the landmark Columbia Restaurant in Tampa's historic Ybor City in 1905. Today, it’s Florida’s Oldest Restaurant℠ and the world's largest Spanish restaurant.

The Cafe dining room contains the original bar from the 1903 Saloon Columbia, which operated as a way for the Florida Brewery to sell its beer before serving food as the Columbia Restaurant in 1905.
